The Retail Therapist is a boutique owned by Local Influencer, Whitney Rife. Whitney does a phenomenal job stocking her boutique with trendy clothing for women of all ages and sizes. Not only is her boutique fantastic, so are her blog and Instagram. She always shares the best fashion finds, recipes, travel tips, etc.
JM Artistry
JM Artistry the Salon is a local salon owned by Jaimie Maynor. Jaimie is my go-to girl for camera-ready hair and makeup. She has styled me for all of my Brand Ambassador photo shoots and commercials. Not only does she make me feel totally glam, but the look stays all day long, which is an absolute dream when I'm trying to film.
Virtual Edge
There is no better way to start the New Year than with a fresh blowout at Virtual Edge. Virtual Edge is a fantastic local salon owned by Megan Bundy. With a variety of services of a full range of natural products, you're sure to leave feeling like your best self.
Royal Cleaners
Honestly, though, it's hard to look and feel your best if your clothes aren't clean, tailored, and pressed. Royal Cleaners has been a community staple for over 70 years. As a family owned business, the Schwartz brothers make it their mission to provide top quality service to each and every customer.
Tantalizing
One of the biggest appeals to me about moving to the grand strand area was the idea of sunbathing on the beach year-round. As locals, we know that isn't exactly realistic considered the recent cold snaps, nor is it good for your skin. Luckily for me, I can stay tan all year round with spray tans from Tantalizing. The people at Tantalizing are always so fantastic and do a phenomenal job of giving me a sun-kissed glow without any hint of orange, which I know is a huge concern for so many people when getting a spray tan. They also offer red light therapy and an infrared heat sauna.
Bonfire
And lastly, but certainly not least, is Bonfire A Smokin' Taqueria. If you follow my Instagram account @successinthebag, you know that Bonfire is one of my favorite places to eat. I literally go there like once a week. Their food is phenomenal, and they have a gorgeous view of the Waccamaw River. I mean, where else can you get tacos and BBQ? How's a girl supposed to choose?
