It's October, and Spooky Season has officially begun. If you're looking for ways to celebrate, then you're in luck. The City of Conway, or should I say Halloween, has a little bit of everything for folks to enjoy.
For the past few years, the City of Conway has gotten pretty festive around Halloween; they've hung pumpkins in the trees, held ghost walks, had a great pumpkin patch at the Methodist church, and have even temporarily renamed themselves from Conway, SC, to Halloween, SC.
In addition to the fall activities and events that have already been going on in the city for the past few years, they've added several new ones: a pedal pub, pirate ship adventure, coffin race, silent skeleton disco, and more. First United Methodist Church on 5th Ave. has one of the best pumpkin patches around. Not only do they have a fantastic selection, but they restock their patch all season long!
The Conway Ghost Walk travels through the Historic Downtown to the Riverwalk with storytellers sharing tales that are always spooky, sometimes humorous, and guaranteed to become part of your family's Halloween tradition.
A place where children come to experience the magic of sailing away in search of sunken treasure on board the pirate ship, Sea Gypsy.
Pedal through Conway’s historic streets and along the scenic Riverwalk while enjoying seasonal treats and curated stops. Costume up as a witch, wizard, or your favorite mystical character, sip wines, and take in the charm of the city with friends.
Families can stroll through a ghostly gathering of vendors offering handmade arts & crafts, delicious candy and sweet treats, tasty bites, and even festive hair braiding.
