With the big game this weekend, there's one big question on everyone's mind; what snacks are you making? If you're like me, you're probably on the hunt for a delicious treat that's also budget-friendly.
After some research, I came across the cutest football-themed chip and dip idea that took less than $20 to make. And whether or not your team wins, you'll be sure to score it big in the kitchen with my recipe below:
Using a long rectangular cooking dish, I spread my guacamole in the center, leaving around 2 inches on each end. I filled the empty end spaces with salsa on one side and cheese dip on the other. I took a small sandwich bag and filled it with sour cream like you would fill an icing piping bag. Then, I cut the tip off of the bag and made a few practice piping strokes. I piped sour cream lines across the guacamole, mimicking yard lines on a football field. Finally, I piped the team names in the salsa and cheese dip to make each side look like the team's end zone.
This chip and dip idea was such a cheap and easy dish to put together, but a little extra thought and creativity helped me to elevate it and make it more themed for gameday.
