Best Places Around the Grand Strand to Celebrate Independence Day

Cue Born in the USA, Proud to be an American, and Independence Day by Martina McBride (I had to add a little twang for my country heart.) Believe it or not, the Fourth of July is my favorite holiday, and just like Christmas has its carols, Independence Day has its melodies. Something about those proud tunes, warm weather, cookout food, and fireworks speaks to my soul.

With lots of tourists in town for the holiday and lots of different Independence Day celebrations, it can be hard to find the perfect spot to celebrate. Below are some of the best places around the grand strand to celebrate Independence Day, and trust me, you're guaranteed to see a fabulous fireworks show.

Broadway at the Beach

Fireworks will start at 10 p.m. at Broadway at the Beach, over Lake Broadway, in the middle of the massive shopping and dining complex.

Downtown Myrtle Beach

Catch a fireworks show at Second Avenue Pier on the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk at 10 p.m. The fireworks show can be viewed from the Boardwalk as well as the beach.

Cherry Grove Pier

Cherry Grove Pier in North Myrtle Beach will host a Fireworks Show at 9:30 p.m. Bring a beach chair or blanket and watch the show from the shore.

Murrells Inlet Marshwalk

Murrells Inlet will host a Fireworks show at 10 p.m. at the Murrells Inlet Marshwalk. The show will be at the end of the pier and can be viewed from anywhere along the Marshwalk.

Barefoot Landing

Barefoot Landing will be lighting up the night sky with an amazing fireworks display starting at 10 p.m.

Wherever you celebrate, I hope you have a safe, fun Independence Day!
