For the second year in a row, Carolina Trust was named WMBF News' Best in Banking in their Best of the Grand Strand Contest. It is such an honor to be voted as "Best Bank" by members of the Grand Strand Community.
What is Best of the Grand Strand?
This annual contest was created by WMBF News in 2014, as a way for those in our area to nominate and vote for their favorite businesses along the Grand Strand and recognize those businesses as the best, based on WMBF’s viewers. It has grown to include 6 main categories, food, entertainment, shopping, home improvement, professional services and health and beauty. There are over 100 subcategories under those main 6.
Although Carolina Trust is a not-for-profit financial cooperative, we were placed in the professional services category with the other banks. We believe that it is our dedication to living out the credit union philosophy, "people helping people," that sets us apart in the financial industry.
